Joseph J. Malone
Joe co-founded Stevens & Malone, PLLC, in 2007. Prior to moving to Wimberley in 2006, Joe practiced law in Chicago at two busy litigation firms. Joe focuses his practice primarily in the areas of real estate and title law, business transactional law, business formations, wills, general estate planning and probate. Joe considers it a privilege to live and work in the Hill Country of Texas and be a member of the great communities of Wimberley and Canyon Lake. Joe currently serves as the President of the Wimberley Independent School District Board of Trustees, is a Director of the Wimberley Education Foundation, also has served as its past President, and is a Director of the Wimberley Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Joe is married to Trish, and they are the proud parents of Ella, Jack and Hope.

Mary Kathryn Brown
Mary Kate Brown is a Wimberley local. Both Mary Kate and her husband, Travis, attended Wimberley High School, and knew they always wanted to call Wimberley home. They have two children that always keep them on the go. Her daughter is a recent graduate from Wimberley High School and is attending Texas A & M University in the fall of 2022. Her son is a mastermind of all things video game, and a fabulous second basemen.
Mary Kate attended Concordia University in Austin, Texas for her undergraduate degree in Political Science and was a graduate of the Honors College. She then went on to St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas for her law degree. While in law school, she focused her studies on property law, land use and control, and litigation. Mary Kate was an executive board member to the Law Journal while at St. Mary’s. She also clerked for the Hays County District Attorney’s Office and was an intern for the Third Court of Appeals in Austin.
